Bookkeeper

Job Description:

We are seeking a organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Saint Accountants. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our company and ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Record all financial transactions accurately and timely
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve financial issues
• Assist with other accounting and financial tasks as needed

Requirements:

• AAT Level 2 or similar
• 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
